Happy TGIF everyone! It's a Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm with a new challenge for you!  This week, we'd love to see your "Lovely Layers"!!!

Here is my card for some inspiration....

This card features the adorable and exclusive "Beanie Ian".   I just love this little guy and he reminds me so much of my youngest son, Ethan! :)  He looks so cute and cozy with his cup of hot cocoa.  I wish I had some hot cocoa right now!  Layering some design papers was a lot of fun for this challenge and I couldn't resist also adding the fabulous TGF Snowflake Die.  This die is one of my favorites!!!  Please check out The Greeting Farm blog to get the details on this challenge and to see the other "Lovely Layers" projects from the DT.  Have a wonderful Friday and great weekend ahead!

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge: Use Lace!

Hello and welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!!

Hope you're all having a great week!   We have a fun challenge today which is to  "Use Lace"!  I personally loved this challenge as I love lace.  Unfortunately, I am a big hoarder when it comes to beautiful lace and trims so I'm glad I had the opportunity to actually create with some! :)

Our wonderful sponsor for this week's challenge is Crafty Sentiments!!!
Here is my card...

So the cute image for my card comes from a digi by  Crafty Sentiments  called "Cold Christmas".  You can tell it is a cold one with what this cute gal is wearing, but doesn't she look so cozy?!! :)  She's pretty cute too and I had a lot of fun coloring her up with my Copic Markers .  I also added some stickles in "Stardust" to her muffs and the trim on her dress.   The papers I used are from the Bo Bunny Powder Mountain collection and I edged them with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Broken China.  My lace actually has some organza and pearls on the top but the bottom is definitely lace so I thought this was a good choice.  Plus it matched my card so well! :)  Anyways, I was so happy to take it out of the hoard vault to create!

Here are some additional supplies used on my card:
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink
Snowflake Die - TGF

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store! We'd love to see your "Lace" projects! :)

Hope you all like my  card!  Have a wonderful week and thanks so much for stopping by to visit! :)

Hugs,
Marcy

The Greeting Farm Tuesday Inspiration Day: A Happy Dance for Miss Anya Night Out!

Hello Friends!  Hope everyone is having a great week so far!  Today is my Inspiration post for The Greeting Farm Blog and  I wanted to share a card using one of the Anyas from the adorable "Miss Anya Night Out" collection.

And here she is...

I hadn't played with this image yet so I was so excited to create something with her.  I love her cute pose and she definitely looks like she's ready for a night out!  She also looks so cheery which is why I added the sentiment "Happy Dance"! :)  I thought Anya would look super cute in yellow and colored her up with my copics.  What do you think?!! :)  I kept my card pretty simple and didn't want to add too much layering to this already gorgeous paper called The Sweetest Thing "Honey" which you can also find at the TGF store.  Finally, I wanted to add some little touches of pink to accent the papers and also because pink is one of my favorite colors too! :)  I really love these three images from the "Miss Anya Night Out" set.  These gals are so fun and girlie and just perfect to create with for so many occasions!  I hope you enjoy my card for today and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday Inspiration Day Steampunk Style!

Hello Friends! Hope you are all having a great weekend!  It's my Saturday Inspiration day at Loves Rubberstamps and I'm excited to share my card today with all of you!

Here it is...

I was so happy to finally create something with this adorable image by La La Land Crafts called "Steampunk Marci".   Isn't she so adorable?!!!  I just love the whole "Steampunk" look which takes me back to my love of the vintage and grunge style when I first started crafting.  I colored up cute Marci with my copics and had a lot of fun doing this.  I actually took inspiration from the stamp set sample itself because I really love the teal and brown combo together.  And as you can tell, I went all out with this "Steampunk" theme using the Steampunk heart cogs and the Steampunk corner dies also from LLLC.  I have to say that I have always been a fan of their images but I'm really loving all of the beautiful dies they have as well!  They are always so unique and they cut so easily.  The papers I used are from one of my hoarded collections by Bo Bunny called "Gabrielle".  These are such gorgeous papers and the colors were perfect for my card.  I also had a lot of fun distressing the papers which I have not done in so long! Great mental therapy! LOL I love the sentiment "Dare to Dream" which also comes with this fun stamp set.  I cut it out using the Stitched Tabs Die by La La Land Crafts.  Finally, I decided to add some rolled roses from the DP using the Mini Rolled Roses Die by MFT.  I added some pearls to the centers and thought they came out pretty cute!

Supplies Used:
Steampunk Marci-La La Land Crafts
Steampunk Heart Cogs-La La Land Crafts
Steampunk Corner Die-La La Land Crafts
Stitched Tabs Die-La La Land Crafts
Gabrielle-Bo Bunny
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink
Walnut Stain-Tim Holtz Distress Ink

Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the beautiful images and dies by La La Land Crafts.  There are so many to choose from and Laura is constantly getting new ones in the store!

Also, make sure to stop by tomorrow for the "Sensational Sunday" blog hop where you can win some fun prizes!  You also have time to join in our weekly challenge "Case yourself or case a DT member"!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Saturday! :)

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: A water colored "Royal Cutie Pie"!

Hello Friends and welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!!

We have a fun challenge for you today which is to CASE yourself or someone else!  When you CASE a card or project, it just means you use it for inspiration on your project.  This could be a technique, a style or just a project you really admire!:)

Our fantastic sponsor for this week's challenge is Aurora Wings!!!

So as soon as I saw this challenge, I knew I wanted to case a technique by the fabulous Annie Rose!  I am a big fan of hers and had been asking her questions on and off about her technique. Here is Annie's beautiful card...

Here is my card...

Annie is very unique with her coloring in that she uses distress inks and water to watercolor many of her images.  I have been watching her creations on You Tube as well as on her blog and have wanted to try this technique for some time now.  The sweet image I used for my card is from the "Royal Cutie Pies" set by The Greeting Farm.  I have to admit that water coloring this gal was not as easy as I expected it to be and kudos to Annie and others out there who use this technique!  I think this was the 4th "Royal Cutie Pie" I colored up before I felt she was decent enough to share with you all! LOL   The Tim Holtz distress inks I used with water to color her up were Tea DyeVictorian VelvetMustard SeedBroken China and Spun Sugar.  I added some stickles in "Stardust" to the heart on her ribbon and to her shoes.  I also used some Spun Sugar distress ink around the edges of my papers. The pretty papers I used are from the Cashmere Dame collection by Glitz Design. I just love these bright and cheery papers!  I also added some layered spellbinders behind this cutie, some small flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a teal ribbon I made on the side.  The sentiment "Hello Sweetie"comes with the same fun stamp set.

Here are the additonal supplies I used on my card:
Ovals Standard and Scalloped Ovals-Spellbinders
Leaf Punch-Martha Stewart
Jet-Stazon Ink
Watercolor paper-Michaels
Blue Rhinestones-Kaisercraft

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store!

Hope you all like my  card!   I had so much fun trying out this technique and definitely plan to practice practice practice to use water coloring with distress inks on some future projects! Thanks so much Annie Rose for letting me CASE your beautiful work and thanks to everyone for stopping by!  Have a wonderful rest of your week! :)

Hugs,
Marcy
